Dear Happy M5Hosting Customer,

I am continuously impressed by our customers. Even in tough times, our
customers continue to innovate, grow and build. You push forward bravely
and cleverly. Some are being rewarded with fantastic growth right now.
The new bigger, faster, better products and services announced in this
email were developed in response to the feedback from our customers who
are going big or growing. You have asked for bigger solutions. Here are
a few. There are more to come.

New "Value" Network Option:
I have great news for our more bandwidth-hungry customers. Our "Value"
network option is now available. ValueNet is a lower cost alternative
network to the PremiumNet network that most of our customers are on now.
ValueNet is a new fully redundant, multi-homed network using BGP and
only Tier-1 network providers, just as other quality dedicated server
hosts use. We created ValueNet for those customers who need much more
bandwidth included with their dedicated server service than we were
previously able to offer at an affordable price.
ValueNet does not use the Avaya CNA system to measure performance down
each available like the PremiumNet does, but is more practical for high
bandwidth applications. If your current dedicated server includes 250GB
of data transfer per month on our PremiumNet but you need more
bandwidth, you can move to ValueNet and get 1,500GB per month at the
same price. If your current server includes 350GB of PremiumNet, you
would get 2,000GB on ValueNet for the same price. You must change IP
addresses to change networks. Both networks are top notch. PremiumNet is
designed to get that very last drop of performance at any cost, while
ValueNet aims to serve higher volume at a highly competitive price. You
can read more detailed information about the two networks at these two
links:

If you have questions about our networks, please send an email to
sales(at)m5hosting.com or give us a call.

New Server Hardware Models:
We have some new server models available. On the lower end, we now have
a Intel "Atom" based dedicated server available. This Intel "Atom" CPU
is exceptionally power efficient. However, to achieve this efficiency,
it's performance is different than Core2 or Pentium systems. It is most
appropriate for personal systems, development systems with a low load,
etc. It is not upgradable and not available with RAID. The introductory
price is $99/mo.
On the higher end, we now have Dual Quad Core (8 cores!) servers
available 16GB and 24GB of RAM and 2 or 4 hot-swap disks and RAID 0, 1
or 10. Disk options include 1TB Western Digital "Black" disks, and 150GB
or 300GB 15,000rpm SAS disks. The Dual Quad Core servers can be upgraded
to 48GB of RAM. Check them out at:

Cage Space Expansion:
We are growing! We have acquired new, additional cage space in our
primary data center facility. This will give us room to double in size
one more time. To best use this new space, accommodate future growth,
and serve our existing customers, we are moving our network equipment
from a single rack elsewhere in the data center to 2 racks, side by
side, inside this new cage. This move is scheduled for this weekend
during our regular maintenance window (after 2am PDT on Sunday morning).
A maintenance announcement will follow.

As always, I encourage your feedback. Tell us how we are doing. Tell us
how we can serve you better. How can we best support you with your
project or operations?

Sincerely,
Mike
