Dear Happy M5 Hosting Customers,

This evening after 10pm, we will be doing some physical movement
of some hardware in the Data Center. This work will be performed to improve
cooling of the shared hosting and dedicated servers. This is preventative
maintenance. While heat is not a real issue now, the temperature does
increase with each new server we add to the rack. We plan to completely
fill the current rack shortly. Heat decreases the mean time between
failures. A cool server is a happy server.

Shared Hosting Customer:
The downtime will be kept to a minimum. We expect less than 15
minutes of downtime for shared hosting customers. The last downtime for the
server was a scheduled reboot, 176 days ago. The last loss of connectivity
was for the planned installation of a new firewall, about 4 months ago
(June 20th, 2004).

Colocation and Dedicated Server customers:
No downtime is expected for dedicated server customers or
colocation customers. The last loss of network connectivity was during the
installation of a new firewall, about 4 months ago. The monitoring system
will remain up this evening so we will be able to address any unexpected
issues immediately.

If you have problems or questions relating to this maintenance or
for any other reason, please send an e-mail message to
support[at]m5hosting.com.

Thank you for your trust and your business !
Mike
